Jan 15 Galba Roman Emperor for seven months from 68 to 69. Galba was the governor of Hispania Tarraconensis, and made a bid for the throne during the rebellion of Julius Vindex. He was the first emperor of the Year of the Four Emperors
Apr 16 Otho Roman Emperor for three months, from 15 January to 16 April 69. He was the second emperor of the Year of the Four Emperors
Dec 22 Vitellius Roman Emperor for eight months, from 16 April to 22 December 69. Vitellius was proclaimed emperor following the quick succession of the previous emperors Galba and Otho, in a year of civil war known as the Year of the Four Emperors
